No account needed. There's no sign-up and no login. You open the app and start scoring — everything lives right on your iPhone.
Do I have to type names every time?
No. Tap how many are playing and you're in; names are optional. If you played a game recently, a Play again card brings back last game's crew in one tap, and saved people and rosters drop in from the same screen. Want every option every time? Turn on Always show full setup in Settings.
Can Tallero pick teams or who goes first?
Yes. Team games — Euchre, Spades, Cribbage, Cornhole and others — let you set teams on the setup screen, and a shuffle button settles who goes first.
Which games are built in?
Seventeen to start: Hearts, Cribbage, Yahtzee, Euchre, Rummy, Gin Rummy, Spades, Phase 10, Farkle, Flip 7, Dutch Blitz, Dominoes, Cornhole, Golf (Cards), Mini Golf, Mölkky and Qwirkle — plus Custom Score for anything not on the list, and Quick Score and Quick Timer for instant setups.
Can I score a game that isn't listed?
Absolutely. Use Custom Score to set up players, a target score, and whether high or low wins. Tallero keeps the running totals for any game you can imagine.
What's the difference between Custom Score, Quick Score, and a saved custom game?
Quick Score is a blank tap counter from the home screen, for a game you're inventing as you go. Custom Score sets up players, a target, and high- or low-wins for a single game. Save a custom setup and it becomes its own tile on the home screen, so your house-rules game is one tap next time.
Where are the rules?
Every built-in game has its own rules sheet in the app — how to play, how it scores, and the common variants. Open it from the game's options before you start.
I made a mistake entering a score — can I fix it?
Yes. Every game has Undo and Redo pinned to the action bar, so a misclick is never a problem. Step back as many entries as you need.
Does Tallero work offline?
Completely. Tallero never needs a connection. Your games, rosters, and preferences live on your device, so it works on a plane, a cabin, or anywhere the Wi-Fi doesn't reach.
Your people and your history
Does Tallero remember who I play with?
Yes. Everyone you name gets a profile that carries across every game: win rates, streaks, head-to-head records, and a trophy case of every award they've earned. People and saved rosters live together under Settings → Players.
I renamed someone mid-game. Did they lose their history?
No. Renaming keeps their profile and stats — unless the new name already belongs to someone else you've saved.
Can I see stats for just my regular group?
Yes. In Stats, the Everyone chip at the top filters every number on the screen to a saved roster or a set of people you pick. Clear it with the ✕.
What's an archrival?
Tallero works out who you lose to most and who you beat most, and shows it. The win screen hands out Nemesis and Punching Bag awards from the same record.
Can I share a result?
Yes. The win screen has a Share button that sends a picture of the final standings and awards to Messages, Photos, or anywhere else in the share sheet. Mini Golf includes the scorecard and Cribbage includes the final board.
If I delete a game from history, what happens to stats?
Stats, records, and trophies that came from that game are recalculated without it. The app asks before it does this.
Making it yours
Can I hide games I never play, or reorder the home screen?
Yes. Press and hold any tile on the home screen to rearrange the grid or hide a game you never play — tap Done or any blank space when you're finished. There's also a smaller-icons layout and a Recent row for games in progress, both options on the home screen itself.
Can I turn off the sounds?
Yes. Settings → Sound Effects mutes everything, mutes just the haptics, or lets you turn individual effects on and off — so you can keep the fanfare and lose the click.
Can I turn off the tips?
They go away on their own once you've seen them. Settings → Show in-app tips again brings them back.
Your data and devices
If I get a new iPhone, do my games come with me?
Yes. Tallero's data is part of your phone's normal iCloud or computer backup, so restoring a new phone from that backup brings every game, person, and record along. There's no Tallero setting to turn on.
Does Tallero send anything off my phone?
Your players, scores, and history never leave the device, and no account exists to tie them to. Tallero does send anonymous usage data — which screens get used, how long games run, that kind of thing — to help decide what to build next. Turn it off under Settings → Share anonymous usage data. The privacy policy spells out exactly what's sent.
Tallero says it can see fewer games than it recorded. What is that?
After every finished game, Tallero quietly keeps a known-good copy of your history on the phone. If it ever opens and finds less than it saved, it asks whether to restore that copy — showing you both counts first. “Not now” leaves everything as it is.
How do I reset or clear my data?
Open Settings → Reset all data. This wipes every saved game, roster, and preference from your device. It can't be undone, so use it with care.

I found a bug, or have an idea. What now?
We'd love to hear it. In the app, Settings → Report a bug opens this page and Send Feedback opens an email with your app version already filled in — which makes a bug much faster to track down. You can also email support@gettallero.com directly (include your iPhone model and iOS version if it's a bug). Feature and game requests genuinely shape what comes next.
