The short version: Tallero doesn't collect your data. It stays on your device, with you.
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Tallero ("the app", "we", "us") is a score-keeping app for card games and game nights. We built Tallero to be private by design. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no tracking.
This policy explains what that means in practice and what limited information is involved when you use Tallero.
None. Tallero does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, or any other personal information. We have no servers that receive your data, and there is no analytics or advertising SDK collecting information in the background.
Everything you create in Tallero — your games in progress, saved player rosters, names, scores, and app preferences — is stored locally on your device only. We never see it, and it is never uploaded to us or to any third party.
This data is included in your device's normal encrypted backups (for example, an iCloud or finder/iTunes backup of your iPhone) if you have those enabled. Those backups are managed entirely by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us.
Tallero is free during beta and for the first few months after launch, with a planned one-time price (around $4.99, not yet finalized) after that. Any purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your name, payment card, or billing details — Apple handles the entire transaction and shares only anonymized, aggregate sales information with us. Apple's handling of that purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Tallero includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software of its own, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Apple provides developers with anonymous, aggregate usage and crash statistics through the App Store's built-in analytics — and only for people who have opted in at the system level (Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your device). That information comes from Apple, never identifies you, and reaches us only as summary numbers. You can turn it off at any time in those iOS settings.
If we ever add our own usage analytics, we'll update this page and the app's App Store privacy details beforehand — see "Changes to this policy" below.
Tallero is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because no personal data is collected, there is nothing for us to access, retain, or delete.
You are always in control of your information:
If we ever change how Tallero handles data — for example, by adding optional cloud sync or crash reporting in a future update — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be made clear before they take effect.
